Alphagen Genlock Support Enhancements

MagicBox has enhanced the Alphagen software to control more features of the Alphagen G-Lock Genlock unit. This new support is provided with a software upgrade to all models of Alphagen. The new capabilities allow video input source selection, meaning that more than one video source may be connected to the Alphagen and selected by the user.

Listed below is a new set of menus that appears under the Alphagen's "F6 - Page Background" menu.

• Video Genlock Input Source
  • No Genlock
  • Video Input CVBS1
  • Video Input CVBS2
  • Video Input S-Video

A video signal must be present on the specified input for the video switch to take place. The S-Video input is an extension of Video Input CVBS1 and shares the same internal circuitry - S-Video allows component (SVHS) video input attached at that connector, where CVBS1 allows traditional composite input. The user setting is saved and restored after any power outage or restart of the Alphagen software.
