MagicBox Announces Release of Aavelin RT

MagicBox proudly announces the release of the Aavelin RT. The Aavelin RT features the ability to pass live video through the system. An incoming video source such as a camera or television signal can be displayed by the Aavelin while text, images, and crawl lines continue to playback over the top of that signal.

The Video Overlay Feature is intended to support the display of a continuous video feed into the Aavelin RT System. Text and graphics placed in designated Video Overlay Pages will cleanly superimpose on the live video source. The process is similar to a “Chroma-Key” used in television production, in an automatic, user-friendly manner.

Aavelin features such as page wipes, “logo bug”, and crawl regions are integrated with the live video. Text or weather data in the crawl regions can be keyed over the incoming video signal, creating a look that is similar to that of the cable news networks.

Aavelin RT’s features are extremely useful in a number of applications. City Council meetings can be broadcast while pertinent information or breaking news is displayed in one of the four crawl regions. Satellite Radar Feeds for weather forecasts can be passed through in the same manner. A television signal such as CNN can be passed through while special customer alerts crawl across the screen.
