MagicBox Introduces Multiple Video Inputs for the Aavelin RT

The Aavelin RT Digital Signage Messaging System now allows the user to have up to three (3) Composite Video feeds and one (1) S-Video feed flowing into the Aavelin, giving it a built-in Four Input Video Switcher.

New page controls allow you to switch from multiple video input feeds. Control VTR/DVD players and Adtec Digital's MPEG-2 video playback devices. Include live video upstream to Aavelin and watch Aavlin transcode the video, which can overlay crawl lines and Video in a Window pages.

This feature allows the user to input a variety of source video into the Aavelin RT. For Example: In Vid1, you can have a DVD player. In Vid2, you can have a VCR, and in Vid3, you can have a live satellite feed. The S-Video can also have a video signal coming in such as a web cam. You can control which input to use with Aavelin Composer. The flexibility allows the user to schedule the Time, Date, Duration and the Video Input on a per page basis.

Other application ideas include switching between multiple security/observation cameras while crawling superimposed text and display of multiple traffic cameras alternating with graphical maps.
