MagicBox Introduces TxStream Service for Aavelin Digital Signage Solution

TxStream enables real time weather forecast data delivery to Aavelin. Weather forecast data is now available for all regions of the United States. Data includes updates on today’s weather, plus a 7 day forecast. The N.O.A.A. (National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration) produces forecasts around the clock while TxStream optimizes the forecast to your region. Here is an example of TxStream zone forecast data.

2:00 PM PST TUE MAR 16 2004 TONIGHT...MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS IN THE MID 50S. LIGHT WIND IN THE EVENING BECOMING NORTHWEST AROUND 10 MPH AFTER MIDNIGHT. WEDNESDAY...MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS IN THE MID 80S. LIGHT WIND. WEDNESDAY NIGHT...MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS IN THE MID 50S. LIGHT WIND...

TxStream pulls weather data at regular intervals throughout the day providing for real time, automated updates right on the screen. Forecasts are scrolled along any of the Aavelin’s 4 overlay regions for easy visibility.

Aavelin will alternate this data feed with other information, which includes date/time and custom messages.

TxStream opens a new area of data services for digital signage, enabling more solutions to follow.
