A new demonstration
DVD is available for the Aavelin, including informational videos
and sample content. The Demonstration
DVD contains 16 sample projects representing different market
segments - all designed and created using the Aavelin Composer Software. Contact

Version 2.84 of the Aavelin software
is currently in beta testing and will be released officially
in May. New in
this release:
- Credit Roll – Reads the contents of a TXT file
and scrolls it vertically on the screen. Fully customizable appearance,
usable over video and Flash as well.
- Crawl Line Scheduling – Schedule
crawl content items the same way pages are scheduled. Use
time domain or event scheduling to make crawls start/stop
as needed, play at specific times, at specific intervals,
and more!
- Page Filtering – New thumbnail filters
allow you to select types of pages to display. Can be
used to hide video pages, expired pages, and more. Very
useful for large projects.

Aavelin Hardware Changes
Now
shipping with all new Aavelin systems –
- Front USB – Additional USB port on the front of the Aavelin. Publish
with your USB drive conveniently!
- 2nd
Audio Line In – Combined
with existing Line 1 and Music Bed inputs, provides 3:1 audio
switching. Use for audio feed from a
separate player (DVD/VCR/MPEG), or an additional audio-only
source such as a radio or CD music system.
