Within each solution we offer several hardware and software combinations in order to meet your content, management, and budgetary requirements. In addition, MagicBox also offers plug-in options for handling specialized content (such as RSS feeds and live weather) and point-to-point video extenders to ensure you that you can install our media players anywhere in your building.
Solution By Type
No matter what solution you are after, every MagicBox media player comes with the following standard features and capabilities:
- IP Addressable
Connect the media player on your network and assign it a static IP address to ensure that new content can be pushed to the system from anywhere in your facility. Or you can even assign it a global/external IP address and push content updates from anywhere in the world. - Content Creation
Every player comes with our easy to use Composer software* with features tailored to that player. With Composer, you can create simple pages by combining background images with text. Composer is there to help you be creative in bringing together different media and content types together in an effective presentation.* Some solutions don't included Composer and will typically include EZ-Stream software
- Content Scheduling
Also with in Composer, you can schedule each piece of content individually and decide when it is valid to be displayed. Choose what days of the week content can play, between what times during the day, and when the content will expire. You can even plan ahead and schedule content to start playing days, weeks, or even months in advance.

Digital Signage
Overview
Digital Signage is becoming an ever increasing form of public communication. MagicBox is here to help you create the Digital Signage network that will be most effective for your situation. Our players provide you with high resolution output options of HD 720P or HD 1080P so you can use any LCD or Plasma display. With this solution, you can easily deliver important information to public areas such as a lobby, hallway, or elevator.
Aavelin 720P/ 1080P – With multimedia support for Adobe Flash and Divx, the Aavelin 720P or 1080P player has everything a digital sign needs. Create content using your own fonts, graphics, animated GIF's, multimedia, and crawling text for RSS or data feeds. The Aavelin also comes with a 4x1 video input card for incorporating live video feeds. Maximum resolution output is either 1376x768 or 1920x1080 and comes as a DVI or VGA signal. The Aavelin player comes as a heavy duty 2U rack mount case.
Aavelin SignMate - All the same feature set as an Aaveiln but in a small form factor player. The SignMate can be mounted to a wall or behind a display. Video signal comes from DVI or VGA and has a maximum resolution of 1376x768. Video input card is an option and is a 2x1 video switcher.
Aavelin Café - – A low end version of the SignMate, this player is perfect for places where multimedia support is not as important and your budget is. The Café can support short DivX video clips and all static content. Video signal comes from DVI or VGA and has a maximum resolution of 1376x768 (WXGA) or 1280x720 (720p) depending on your display.

Broadcast Channel
Overview
Getting important information to many viewers on an existing cable infrastructure has never been easier. MagicBox provides media players that output the NTSC 480i broadcast standard signal via a composite or BNC connector. With this complete solution, you can create and distribute content over your cable television network quickly and at the time you need it.
MagicBox has different levels of players depending on your content needs. All of these players are page based (the majority of content is displayed full screen) and come with a version of our Composer software that is tailored to its capabilities. Please look over the following to see which player is best for you:
Aavelin SD/ SDRT – A full featured video messaging system. With Aavelin, you can utilize a variety of content types to reach any kind of audience. Content features include graphics and text, animated GIFs, Flash 7 support (SWF and FLV), Crawling text (your own messages or RSS feeds), and Logo bug. On top of all that, the SDRT model also includes a 4x1 video input card. This allows you to incorporate live video from a composite or S-video source into your presentation, and view it in a window or full screen. You can bring in recorded video, a cable or satellite feed (via a set top box), or CCTV camera. Aavelin also supports content updates via Serial and USB thumb drive.
Memo - Another economical player with a 2U heavy duty rack mount case. Create full screen pages with the added features of an overlay region for static text such as messages or date and time, and a logo bug. Content can also be pushed to the Memo via Serial or USB thumb drive.

Room Information
Overview
The Room Information solution is a combination of display* and data information all wrapped into one design. It consists of the room sign and database integration software used to display your room schedules & other information in real-time. Pull information from a data source in a template that you create. Design tools are provided to give you a complete and customized look for your information.
- Room Signs – The RoomRoster™ is a fully integrated media player and display designed to go outside a conference room or convention hall.
* The Café with EZ-Stream solution requires the user to provide the display they'll use as a room sign.
- Database Integration – Our EZ-Stream product is a powerful content generation tool that uses information already stored in a database and can format that information for viewing on any public display.
RoomRoster™ 5.7 – A great turnkey all-in-one solution for displaying updated event schedules and other information automatically pulled from a data source. The unit comes with a fully enclosed display surrounded by it's rugged and sleek frame. Also included is our EZ-Stream databese integration software which controls the the automation of data. PoE (Power Over Ethernet) allows for easy installation and control all within one cable. The system can be mounted in or outside of the wall for a clean seemless look.
Café with EZ-Stream - The Café with EZ-Stream software solution is a combination of our Aavelin Cafe media player and Enterprise class EZ-Stream database integration application used to query data sources, retrieve information, create customized layouts and sync to a display for automated content updates.
This room information solution allows your to choose your own monitor size for the perfect integrated look for the application you need.
EZ-Stream - Is a report design and database integration application that allows you to display information coming from a dynamic data source on your RoomRoster system without having to re-type or re-enter your information. You can also use EZ-Stream with our other MagicBox products.
